Question 1

How much does a custom address rock cost in Austin, TX?

Accepted Answer

Custom address rocks are sized from a 12"×8" small stone to a 24"×16" large boulder, and every quote includes a free design proof. Engineered stone costs a fraction of quarried granite. Call (512) 800-2931 for a free estimate and mockup.

Question 2

What areas does Daulton Stoneworks serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve the Texas Hill Country from our Dripping Springs workshop: Austin, San Marcos, Wimberley, Kyle, Buda, Bee Cave, Lakeway, and all of Hays, Caldwell and Travis counties. Delivery and installation are available across the service area.

Question 3

What's the difference between engineered stone and granite?

Accepted Answer

Engineered stone is cast and shaped to any size, accepts crisp stamped lettering and artwork, and weathers for decades — at a fraction of the cost of quarried granite, which cracks and fades. It's also easier to get approved by municipalities as a beautification.

Question 4

Do I need an account to design my stone?

Accepted Answer

No. Our free online design studio lets you pick a stone style, add your address or lettering, choose fonts and colors, and upload logos — no account required. Submit your design and we send a free proof before anything is built.

Question 5

How long does a custom engraved stone take?

Accepted Answer

Most projects go from approved proof to finished stone in 2-3 weeks. Every order starts with a free design proof you approve, then our craftsmen cast, stamp and finish your stone by hand in Dripping Springs, Texas.

Question 6

Do you deliver and install?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We deliver and install across Austin, San Marcos, Dripping Springs and the surrounding Hill Country. Engineered stone is lighter than quarried rock, so installation is faster and more affordable.
